Fall asleep under millions of stars at this Chinese ‘bubble hotel’
In Yangshuo County, south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, a “bubble hotel” gives nature-loving travelers the opportunity to book a stay at one of their eight, gorgeous forest domes. Taking the concept of being surrounded by nothing but the great outdoors, the hotel rooms have see-through walls, through which guests can take in uninterrupted views of the solar system at night, or watch in wonder as the sun rises the following morning. The two-floor bubble tent, each covering an area of 42 square meters, is accommodated with air conditioners, sofa beds, separate bathrooms and luxurious bathtubs. Surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests, the hotel’s rate is around 1,000 yuan (about 145 U.S. dollars) per night, and visitors can also take in nature by hiking or fishing.
